St. Peter

Situated on the North West of the island St Peter is an area of rich history. Dotted with quaint fishing villages, such as the sleepy Speightstown and old English architecture, as well as being home to Barbados Wildlife Reserve; where animals such as monkeys, mongoose and tropical birds roam and fly freely through a dense forest of mahogany trees. Erected in 1680 the characterful St Nicholas’s Abbey is the Parishes’ oldest standing structure, being one of only three remaining Jacobean houses within the Western Hemisphere.

The luxurious landmark St. Peter Hotel serves as a popular meeting point for families and friends.
